We are a two-form entry primary school with a nursery, in Erdington, North Birmingham.  Our aim is to give parents and carers a wider view of the life and work of our school through this website.
Communications between home and school are most important.  We hope that you find this website both informative and useful.  Education is a shared responsibility and we value a good relationship with our parents and the wider school community.  Support from home is invaluable, and we consider it vital that the school, the children and their families work together in order to enjoy success and happiness during the child's formative years.

We currently have about 320 pupils in the junior and infant departments, with 30 full-time and 60 part-time pupils in the nursery.  We have an open-door approach for parents and carers.  The first point of contact is usually our Office Manager, Mrs Allen.

School CharterThe School's Values are:

to create a stimulating and caring environment which promotes an inclusive ethos where all individuals are valued, respected and given equality of access to a life-long learning process.

The School's Aims are:

to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that will provide opportunities for all pupils to learn and achieve through the setting of targets which are challenging for all pupils.

The School's Purposes are:
to consolidate and improve on previous best by establishing entitlement and standards which provide continuity and progression.

to work in partnership with parents, carers and other stakeholders to promote the importance of the child's education, mental development and emotional well-being as part of the preparation for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.

The Buildings and Grounds

Our buildings and grounds are well maintained and we invest a lot of money in maintenance and improvement.  We have recently installed air-conditioning in the classrooms and ICT suite.  Shelters have been constructed for parents/Carers use during inclement weather.  A hard-working body of cleaners led by our caretaker, Mrs. Deegan, keep the school and grounds clean and tidy.  The school buildings and grounds are a no-smoking area. No dogs, except guide dogs, are allowed in the school grounds.

We invest in our buildings and grounds to make them a safe and secure environment for the children.
