ALL Classes: National School Sports Week.
National School Sports Week.
After having our photo taken with Larry Achike, we completed several sets of exercises.
Before we began our Great School Run, Mrs. McEvily led us in some warm-ups.
Like the Olympic Opening Ceremony, our week began with a parade of all the pupils who would take part in the week's activities. After we had all done our exercises in the morning, Larry Achike, triple jumper in training for London 2012, wowed us all by showing us how high and far he can jump. ALL Classes: Royal Wedding Street Party and Hat Parade
The sun came out despite the weather forecast and we all had a lovely street party. The hats were fantastic and a lot of hard work had gone into making them. Thanks to everyone for making this celebration so much fun. Hopefully, William and Kate enjoyed their day too!

Some amazing hats...

Year 2: Bedtime Story Workshop
Year 2 pupils came to school in their pyjamas carrying their favourite teddy...what? This was a very special after-school activity where some pupils returned to school kitted out for a Bedtime Story Reading Workshop with staff from the Infants classes. The hall was decorated with fairy lights and big bean bags for the groups to lie on whilst parents watched Teachers and Teaching Asssistants read favourite bedtime stories to the children. Then it was hot chocolate and biscuits before a final story and then home, for a goodnight's sleep, hopefully.
Goodnight everyone!
